Days after many stories and training videos, she announced the launch of whey protein from We Pink, her beauty brand. The timing doesn’t seem to please the followers very much.
On social media, she has been criticized for sharing a diet and then promoting a new product that contains protein, used by those who want to gain muscle.
“Virginia spent a month showing that she was eating only eggs to now launch her whey protein. She is a very marketer”, said the profile @maranhensechato.
“The woman encouraging people to go on an egg diet to sell their own whey protein”, wrote the profile that identifies itself as Mariana Gonçalves.
Another reason for the criticism arose during one of the dozens of published contents, in which Virginia appears giving a type of baby food to her two-year-old daughter Maria Flor, and said it was banana with whey. “My fork companion,” he wrote. She also eats the mixture.
“Can you give whey to children?”, users asked.
On the brand’s website, product prices range from R$87 to R$105.90.
