Mimi Denisi has expressed many times in public the love and deep relationship she has with her daughter, Maritina, whom she adopted. In a recent interview, the actress and writer spoke with emotion about motherhood, stressing that it has always been one of her biggest goals in life.

Invited to the show “Moms”, she revealed that the relationship with her daughter goes beyond any biological bond. “I have now forgotten whether my daughter came out of my womb or my heart,” she confessed, emphasizing the importance of truth in raising an adopted child. According to her, a child should always know their true history, as this is necessary for the protection of both the child and the parent.

“The truth makes you invulnerable,” he said characteristically, explaining that honesty is necessary for a healthy relationship. “When you tell the truth about your life, no one can hurt you.” He firmly believes that Maritina, knowing the truth, has managed to build a strong bond with her.

Finally, referring to motherhood, she stated that she always wanted to be a mother, but the circumstances of her life did not allow it in the way she imagined. “I went through difficulties, separations, but finally Maritina came into my life. It was a karmic thing, we were destined to meet” she said, while referring tenderly to the characteristics of her daughter, who from a young age showed her stubborn, sweet and tender nature.
