Ney Latorraca’s ex-wife, Inês Galvão mourns the actor’s death

Ney Latorraca, who died this Thursday (26), left the actor Edi Botelho, 66, a widower. The couple lived together for 30 years.

Before that, however, Ney was married to actress Inês Galvão, who paid tribute to him on social media. “He takes a big part of my story and leaves me with a huge loss! I love you forever, Neyzinho”, wrote Inês.

The two artists were married for five years, between 1983 and 1987. In an interview with the newspaper Extra, Inês spoke about the relationship.

“We got together and it was a really cool, really cool relationship. We had a lot of fun, I learned a lot from Ney, and I hope I taught him too,” said the actress.

According to her, the marriage ended because of her mother-in-law, Ney’s mother, with whom the actress did not get along.

“We moved away and it wasn’t because of a fight between him and me, there was no disagreement. There was always a lot of love and affection between us”, he stated.

Inês recounted the episode that made her end the relationship: “I had prepared a surprise dinner for him, with 40 friends, such as Tarcísio Meira, Glória Menezes, Irene Ravache, Marília Pêra, and I left it to Dona Nena to take him to the restaurant That was her only part in the story. And she just didn’t accept it! He went drinking with Laurinho Corona and I stayed there, like an idiot, waiting for him at Plataforma, and he didn’t know anything. Then, for me, it happened. I broke up with him”, recalled the actress.

Inês acted in soap operas such as “Quatro por Quatro”, “Vamp” and “Rainha da Sucata”. After the end of her relationship with Ney, the actress married the player Luís Carlos Tóffoli, known as Gaúcho, who played for Palmeiras and Flamengo. He died in 2016.
