Idris Elba takes a walk in Barra da Tijuca, in Rio de Janeiro, with his wife

Rio de Janeiro’s waterfront is full of celebrities enjoying the last days of 2024. This Monday (30), British actor and director Idris Elba was seen strolling in Barra da Tijuca and drinking at a kiosk by the sea.

He was accompanied by his wife, Canadian model Sabrina Dhowre Elba. They were photographed walking along the shore and also sitting at a table at the kiosk. In one of the images, it is possible to see that Elba enjoyed a drink with lemons and ice — perhaps a caipirinha or, who knows, a lemonade.

The actor has previously said that he appreciates Brazil. In a press conference, he had stated that he wanted to visit the country after watching the film “City of God”.

Elba is known for acting in the series “Luther” and “The Wire”. He was also in films such as “Pacific Rim”, “The Dark Tower”, “After That Mountain”, “The Fast and the Furious: Hobbs and Shaw”, “The Suicide Squad” and “Beasts of No Nation”. In 2018, he was named the sexiest man in the world by People magazine.

This Saturday (28), Cruz Beckham, son of Victoria and David Beckham, also showed up on the Rio waterfront. He was photographed walking in Ipanema, in the south zone, accompanied by his Brazilian girlfriend, Jackie Apostel, 28.
