With 2025 starting, ‘The Voice of Greece’ gave us a special New Year’s episode full of music and fun. The presenter Giorgos Kapoutzidis happily welcomed the beloved coaches, Panos Mouzourakis, Christos Mastoras, Giorgos Mazonakis and Elena Paparizou. Everyone together lived the experience of a Special Blind Audition with a charitable character while thirteen very talented celebrities from all over the world tried to make the coaches turn their chairs.

Who convinced the coaches that it is worth claiming them in their team and who left them… speechless?

Elena Christopoulou made a special appearance that impressed the judges.

“I like major women” she said after her performance and then Elena Paparizou came on stage and they sang a duet together.

Among the celebrities who were on the stage of The Voice was Argyris Angelou, with whom Giorgos Kapoutzidis collaborated twice on television in the series “Saturday-born” and “To para five”. The presenter wanted to make a revelation about his acquaintance with the actor. “The first audition I gave in my life I gave to Argyris, a singer. I had an audition at Takis Zaharatos’ show, that’s where we met, in 2001. One of the troupe had left and they were desperately looking for a person and an acquaintance of mine, who was over there, told me “go to be seen”. Argyris showed me some steps to learn, I did fairly well and then I had to sing. Everyone said Hadzidaki and Theodoraki, that’s what they usually say at auditions, I didn’t want to and I said a Spanish song from Eurovision that nobody knew what the rhythm was so I could do it as wrong as I wanted and nobody understood. Argyris was laughing, I saw him laughing from below at one point, nevertheless the audition was successful. Precisely because this audition was successful, I met Takis and they became the Saturdayborns and then Para Pente. If I hadn’t sung that Spanish song well, nothing would have happened” said Giorgos Kapoutzidis.

Grigoris Arnautoglou’s public apology to Giorgos Kapoutzidis

During the celebratory The Voice, Grigoris Arnautoglou shortly before going on stage, publicly expressed his regret for past disagreements he had with Giorgos Kapoutzidis. “My George, I have said it before and I will say it. I have apologized to you. It’s nice to step on our egos. I want to apologize to you because there were many things I did not understand during my life before I did psychotherapy. You are one of those people who, coming from such a situation that I had in my mind many years before I entered psychotherapy, misunderstood and did not properly analyze in my mind.

When I found out, you are one of the people who have had a great fight. Thank you for being in Greece and we are now fighting together for many things” said the presenter.

With a song by Mazonakis, Lefteris Petrounias managed to surprise his best man, Christos Mastoras.

Katerina Zarifi was on stage next to Christos Mastoras, in a duet that impressed the judges.

Eftichis Bletsas, taking a break from his travels, unexpectedly took the stage of The Voice and took us on a journey with his performance of “As long as I have you”. The evening culminated with an explosive alternative version of the viral song “Pou eisis”, which was performed together by Mastoras, Mouzourakis and Bletsas, winning the audience’s warm applause.
