Meghan Markle welcomed 2025 with a festive Instagram post, her first in years. However, her fans didn’t know that this sweet clip, in which the Duchess of Sussex runs on the beach and marks the new year in the sand, was hiding a bigger surprise.

On January 2, Netflix announced a new reality show called With Love, Meghan. This is not the first time Meghan has worked with the platform, through the Archewell Productions she founded with Prince Harry, she has worked on several documentary series, including Harry & Meghan. However, With Love, Meghan marks an exciting shift which will focus on home, cooking and entertainment.
The slogan? “Create miracles in every moment.”
While the announcement of With Love, Meghan comes as a pleasant surprise for the new year, the show has been a long time in the making. Last April, Netflix hinted that such a show was in the works, describing it as a celebration of “the joy of cooking, gardening, fun and friendship.”
Fortunately, we won’t have to wait long. All eight episodes of With Love, Meghan will be released on January 15, perfect timing for those who promised themselves to enjoy delicious food and new experiences in 2025.
Back to the lifestyle era
If you followed Meghan before she became the Duchess of Sussex, this announcement will come as no surprise. Before shutting down in 2017, her lifestyle blog, The Tig, featured her favorite recipes, travel inspiration, and musings on fashion, beauty, and wellness.
Fittingly, With Love, Meghan will feature the Suits actress’ advice on all forms of entertainment. Through the show, writes Netflix, “Megan reveals how even the smallest details can add beauty to our lives and, most importantly, bring people closer together.”
Speaking of bringing people closer together, Megan will host quite a few familiar faces during her new show, which is filmed in Montecito, California. Mindy Kaling and her friend and Suits co-star Abigail Spencer are just a few of the stars featured in the trailer. Prince Harry also makes an appearance, sharing a tender hug with Meghan.
“I’ve always loved taking something seemingly ordinary and elevating it, surprising people with moments that show them I really thought about them,” Megan says in the trailer, later adding that she’s not concerned with “seeking perfection” but the joy. A perfectly fitting message for the new year!
