The incredibly popular Princess of Wales Catherine – Kate Middleton that is – celebrates her 43rd birthday today and X has been inundated with wishes, following her health adventure.

Prince William, in a customary move for the royal family, expressed his love publicly, posting an unpublished photo of Kate Middleton and a personal message on social media, calling her “the most incredible wife and mother.”

The black and white photo of the Princess of Wales was taken in Windsor last summer.

In the photo, Kate wears jeans, a white shirt, a black jacket and a plaid scarf as she poses smiling and carefree for the camera. She has her hands in her pockets, showing off her dazzling engagement ring, while her hair falls in waves around her shoulders.

“To the most incredible wife and mother. The strength you have shown over the last year has been admirable. George, Charlotte, Louis and I are so proud of you. Happy birthday, Kathryn. we love you C”, he characteristically wrote in the caption of the photo.

For their part, King Charles and Queen Camilla wished Kate Middleton a happy birthday through their Instagram account. The royal couple posted a photo of the princess from her Christmas walk in Sandringham, smiling and holding a bouquet of flowers, writing in the tender caption: “Happy birthday to the Princess of Wales.”

After a year marked by cancer, this year the Princess of Wales will break with tradition to celebrate her birthday surrounded by family and friends at the family home in Norfolk (east of England).

For today, Kate Middleton will welcome a few and nice guests to her home in Windsor, for a dinner party with a happy character.

Shortly after celebrating her 42nd birthday in January last year, Kensington Palace announced that the Princess of Wales had been admitted to hospital for abdominal surgery and would be taking a break from public engagements while she recovered.

In March 2024, Kate released a video in which she announced that she had cancer, shocking the world.

The Princess of Wales completed chemotherapy over the summer and is now gradually returning to public duties.
