Hollywood is on Brad Pitt’s side, according to international media
Her long-awaited return Angelina Jolie on the big screen she did not receive the recognition she expected, while rumors link her failure to this year’s Oscars with her divorce from her ex-husband, Brad Pitt.
The famous actress, as written by the international media, seems to be “devastated” by her omission from this year’s Oscars for her performance in “Maria”, despite her huge personal and professional investment. The 49-year-old actress spent months learning to sing opera, impersonating the legendary Maria Callas, and even admitted that she made the famous soprano’s anxiety her own.

Despite her Golden Globe nomination, Jolie failed to secure a place in the SAG Awards nominations, nor at the Oscars, with the Academy announcing on Thursday, January 23, 2025, its selections for 2024.
The film “Maria” marked Jolie’s return to cinema after years of absence, but the rejection from the Oscars was not good news for either her or Netflix, which financed the production. This shows that Hollywood is on Brad Pitt’s side. The Golden Globes showed that the foreign press loves her, but Hollywood is not going to go against Brad for the sake of Angelina, the scandal-mongering magazines report in their articles.
Jolie’s tumultuous divorce from Brad Pitt was finalized in December after eight years of intense litigation. She had admitted through her lawyer that she was “exhausted” and was trying to find ways to heal her family.
