Triavita Island? Éris and Atrion? Tadeu Schmidt gave a different speech on Tuesday (11) to announce Gabriel as the eliminated of the fourth wall of BBB 25. To the brothers, he said he had told a history of Greek mythology, but to the public, he confessed that he invented the Such tale.
The presenter wanted to warn the brothers about the risk of group play without direct confrontation, without giving his hands on friendships and facing the enemies. He used as a character the goddess Éris, who really exists, and is known as the goddess of discord and conflict.
At the end of the elimination, he said the story was just an invention. Read the complete speech:
“When I finish, we will be 18. Today I just wanted to tell you a story. I don’t know if you know, it’s a very famous story of Greek mythology. The warriors of Triavita.
The following says: The gods summoned the best warriors of Greece to a heroic task. Warriors from various cities came on a boat to an island of Triavita.
These were weeks of travel. The warriors were getting close and, upon arriving on the island, they were greeted by the goddess Éris, who appeared in eagle format and summoned them to the task. Anyone who could follow Éris to the top of Mount Epitofia would be awarded more gold than in Athens coffers. But only a warrior would be able to this feat. All the others would succumb.
At first, the warriors, who had been very close during the trip, did not accept that and decided to come together. ‘Let’s be together, let’s protect ourselves, let’s defend ourselves, let’s all survive together’.
But the time went by, the food was running out, the boat did not leave the place and it was becoming clear that together everyone would die. Either they followed the goddess Éris or succumbed. Even so, some decided to stay on the boat and avoid combat. Others launched themselves in the unknown and left for battle.
Facing Éris was very risky. She assumed the shape of several dangerous animals: the bear, the wolf, the eagle, the crocodile, the snake, the rhino. But these warriors had the courage to face her. Some were seriously injured, others died. And only Atriom, the wisest and most brave, followed the goddess Eris to the top of the mountain.
The most surprising was the Goddess’s reaction at that moment. Éris awarded Atriom, as he had promised to do the brave warriors. He received more gold than he had ever seen in his life. But Eris went further: he cured the injured, brought the dead back to life, and also gave them gold as a prize for their bravery.
The warriors returned to their cities and were celebrated as heroes and their stories were told for generations. Less those who stayed on the boat and fled the fight out of fear. These faced eternal repentance and had to live forever in the service of the goddess Aedos, the goddess of shame.
It’s just a history of mythology, but it’s curious how, for over two thousand years, the human being values courage and despises apathy, “said Tadeu.
The presenter finished his speech by saying that the eliminated, Gabriel, could not take the opportunity to be at BBB. “It’s just that, perhaps, you didn’t have been the only person who didn’t take opportunities. It was enough to have courage and face the goddess Edes,” he said.
