BBB 22: Arthur is Leader, and eliminated indicate Gustavo straight to Paredão

This Thursday night (17) began another week of Big Brother Brasil 22 (Globo), with the participation of those eliminated from the program, who nominated Gustavo straight to Paredão. After the Leader’s Trial, a challenge that required agility and luck, Arthur is the new leader.

The test was in pairs. Lina and Eslô, Gustavo and Natália, Paulo André and Jessi, Scooby and Eli, Arthur and Lucas, Douglas and Laís formed the teams. After winning the race, the duo Arthur and Lucas had to decide who would have the leader’s necklace, and the chosen one was the actor from Rio de Janeiro. The medical student was left with R$ 10 thousand.

In the conversation with Lucas, Arthur said: “I really want this leadership. I want to see my family”. Lucas replied: “I’m in, go for it”. For the VIP, the former Rebel chose Lucas, his partner in the Leader’s Test, Douglas Silva, Paulo André and Pedro Scooby.

In the dynamic, as soon as the timer was activated, one of the players took the ingredients of a beer in the shape of balls, mounted it on a Velro and handed it to the partner. The second player took the marbles, climbed the ramp and threw them into the bottle. The team that managed to get the most marbles into the container before time ran out would win.

Hours before the leadership challenge, the director of BBB 22, Boninho, had published details of the Test on his Instagram, following the expectation of the 12 confined. The competition was sponsored by a beer brand. In the caption, he wrote: ‘accuracy, speed and luck’.

Unlike previous weeks, the leader of the week, Lucas, did not have the right to veto participants for today’s dynamic. Last week, Lucas won the draw after the endurance test, which lasted almost 24 hours, and secured the lead of the week. Natalia and Paulo André were also among the finalists of the race.

To the surprise of the confined, those eliminated from the reality show had to fulfill a challenge linked to the dynamics of leadership: appoint a direct participant to Paredão. “The first walled up of the week will be chosen by the players already eliminated from the BBB 22” said the presenter, Tadeu Schmidt.

Luciano, Rodrigo, Naiara Azevedo, Bárbara, Brunna Gonçalves, Larissa and Jade Picon chose, among the worst in the Leader’s Test, Gustavo for the hot seat, which will be complemented on Sunday (20).

Rodrigo, chosen leader of the eliminated ones, had to eliminate an ex-brother from the dynamics. He, in turn, excluded Naiara Azevedo, with unanimous support from the other former participants. The decision, however, ended up turning into a laundry between the singer, Rodrigo, Brunna, Bárbara, Jade, Larissa and Luciano.

The eliminated ones exchanged accusations and showed dissatisfaction with each other’s attitudes when they were still indoors. Next, it was Vyni’s turn to chat with Larissa. The ex-brothers cited videos and comments made to each other after eliminations, consistency and inconsistency, and lack of dialogue.

Paredão Formation — the angel, who will be known on Saturday, immunizes a person. Leader indicates a participant, who is entitled to a countercolpe. After choosing the leader, the house will be divided into two groups: 6 will vote in the confessional and 5 will have to vote in the open room. At the end, there will be the Bate e Volta test, which will define the three walled-in teams of the week.
