Actress Scarlett Johansson warned about “misuse of artificial intelligence” after a Deepfake video that allegedly showed her and other Jewish celebrities sending a protest message to Kanye West.

Deepfake are images in which computer graphics and artificial intelligence are used to falsify one person’s face on another’s body.

This week, Kanye West made a series of anti -Semitic posts on platform X and sold swastika t -shirts on her website, which was released in California at prime time on television during the Super Bowl of football.

Kanye West’s demonstrations caused a lot of revolt among many, and began to circulate on the internet a fake video – created with artificial intelligence – in which Johansson and other Jewish stars, including David Schwimmer, Woody Allen, Jerry Seinfeld, Paul Simon and Art Garfunkel, appear Wearing a white T -shirt showing David’s star in one hand doing a middle finger greeting, above the word “kanye”.

The American actress said that although she had no tolerance for “hate speech,” she was concerned about the threat of making us “risk losing control of reality.”

‘Hate Speech multiplied with Ia’

In a statement to People magazine, the actress said, “Relatives and friends caught my attention that a video generated by going with my image, in response to an anti -Semitic view, is circulating online and gaining strength.”

“I am a Jewish woman who does not tolerate anti -Semitism or hate speech of any kind,” he said.

“But I also strongly believe that the hate speech potential multiplied by AI is a much greater threat than anyone who takes responsibility for it.”

She added: “We must denounce the misuse of AI, no matter what your message, or we risk losing control of reality.”

The video also features Steven Spielberg Deepfake images, Adam Sandler, Sacha Baron Cohen and Natalie Portman.

The video brings the slogan: “Just. Join the fight against anti-Semitism.”

West, who changed his name to Ye, has been declaring himself Nazi. He praised Hitler on X on Sunday (9), before saying he would close his account.

He also appeared in an ad during the Super Bowl directing people to his site, which started selling only one product: T -shirts with Suastic.

On Tuesday (11), the site was taken down by Shopify due to policy violations.

On Wednesday, Fox Television Stations CEO Jack Abernethy sentenced the announcement in a note to the team.

“The announcement, which was presented as a legitimate online clothing site before and during the Super Bowl transmission, was changed at some point later, and completely out of control of our stations, the people who sought the store because of the commercials were Redirected for the marketing of a totally terrible product, “he said, in reference to Sastic shirts, according to Variety.

Singer Ty Dolla $ IGN, who collaborated with West in 2024 on his latest records also distanced himself from the rapper this week, but did not call him by name.

“I do not tolerate any form of hate speech against anyone,” wrote Ty Dolla $ IGN on Instagram.

Nicole Lampert, a columnist of the Jewish newspaper Jewish Chronicle, said “it was exciting to see Jewish stars facing Kanye West – if at least they had really done that.”

“A viral video of the campaign, which was eventually generated by AI, only serves to highlight the deafening silence of the celebrity class.”

A UK advertising regulatory agency states that fake videos and photos with celebrities and public figures are the most common type of fraudulent ads that appear online.
