Famous American singer Katie Perry will soon travel to the side of five other women, including Lauren Sanchez, Jeff Bezos’ fiancée, announced today by Amazon’s space company Blue Origin.

This flight will take place “in the spring”, the US company said in a press release.

It will be the 11th manned flight made by Blue Origin, which has been proposing tourist flights with the New Shepard rocket for years and carried out its first orbital flight in January thanks to a stronger rocket, New Glenn.

Katie Perry will also be accompanied by Kerian Flynn, film producer and Amanda Nguien, founder of an NGO active in the battle against sexual violence.

Blue Origin has already carried 52 people, including other celebrities, such as William Satner, who embodied Governor Kerk in the Star Trak series, above the Carman line, which sets the border of space at a height of 100 kilometers, according to an international treaty.

In this experience of some minutes, passengers can be removed from their position and hovering briefly in conditions of zero gravity.

The ticket price has not been revealed.
