The countryman said she began to disagree with her father, who was an alcoholic and beat her at 14. He put the revolver into my head and raped me.”

In the interview, the singer stated that after the rape, she was five months pregnant, and the man would have tried to violate her again.

Roberta launched in December the autobiography “A Place Mine”. Writing the book, she said, was a difficult task. “I had the courage when I realized I could help other women.”
