Hkristin Davis was not always having fun when it was on the feet of Charlotte York. In the episode of March 13th of her podcast, Are you a Charlotte?, The actress revealed her one and only plot Sex and the City who didn’t want to turn around. In fact, he even tried to persuade the creative team to cut it.

Davis remembered an episode of the 6th season where Charlotte and her husband, Evan Handler, were to enjoy a tasting of French cheeses in a romantic appointment. Instead, they ended up having food poisoning and getting sick in the night, ending up on the floor of the bathroom.

“I just hated this plot,” he admitted. “I went to the [σεναριογράφους] Elisa Zuritsky and Julia Rottenberg and I said, ‘please, do we have to do that? Why? ‘”According to Cynthia Nixon, Sex and the City had a rule: every plot had to have happened to one of the screenwriters or in a close person.

I didn’t like that. I didn’t want to be lying on the bathroom floor with Evan, wearing dirty t-shirts.”

Scenarios of Satc cut off

While Davis was forced to return a scene of food poisoning despite her will, some other scenarios were cut by both Sex and The City and his continuation, and just like that …, and is not happy with all of them.

In a previous episode of her podcast, Davis revealed that Charlotte was going to reunite with her ex -husband, Trey, in Ajlt, but the idea was rejected by actress Kyle Maclachn. Davis said that their meeting would have a “almost sad tone”, something that Maclachlan didn’t like.

“I teased him a little the other day, but then he explained his perspective, and I understood it,” he remembered. “When you’ve played such a wonderful role in the past that people remember him with so much love … you want to stay at this glorious point. I think he just didn’t want to have a sad note in the end. So I understand.”
