Famous people manifested on social networks in support of actress and singer Linn da Quebrada, 34, who was hospitalized to take care of health after worsening the depression. The artist, who is part of the cast of the movie “Victory”, starring Fernanda Montenegro, also moved away from the internet and canceled a show in Sao Paulo last weekend.
Linn’s office confirmed the hospitalization and stressed that she is receiving professional follow -up and support from family and friends. “During this period, Linn is receiving the necessary support from close people, team and specialized doctors, prioritizing their recovery and strengthening process,” the statement said.
On social networks, artists like Fernanda Paes Leme and Majur spoke out with support messages. “May Lina be well, all the strength for her to recover and keep shining!” Wrote Paes.
The singer Pepita criticized the treatment that the situation received on the internet. “Human rot transforms vulnerability into spectacle by some likes, but nothing erases Linn’s greatness from the broken. Her history, art and strength go far beyond this moment. That she is reborn even stronger, surrounded by love and respect.”
Majur, artist and songwriter, published a sequence of photos on Instagram and reinforced support to her friend. “Health, my love! Everything passes and everything is renewed! Nothing is definitive unless we choose. I choose to love you in all circumstances. Be well, take care! Much strength, Lina. I love you! I’m with you in all the restarts.”
Singer Danny Bond highlighted the importance of Linn. “An extremely important person for our community and deserves all our support and, above all, respect. Make sure this will all pass!” He wrote.
Influencer Giovanna Heliodoro, known as a transpot, asked the public to value the artist’s work. “Instead of sharing misinformation and transphobia disguised as an opinion, you should be publicized Linn’s work in the movies with the movie ‘Victory’. At that moment, what matters is to welcome and emanate good energies for her, just as she always presented us through her art.”
Deputy Erika Hilton also commented on the case, drawing attention to the challenges faced by the trans community. “We need to remember that this dignity is already denied to us daily, leading us to illness, and the abuse of substances is always a ghost to our lurking.”
