The linguist and researcher at the University of Birmingham, Dr. Bodo Winterde conducted a survey with the participation of several people who heard the pronunciation of 100 names.

Their reactions were analyzed to determine which name is considered the most beautiful. Who stood out? The answer is much simpler than we imagine. This is not a rare or ancient Greek. On the contrary, it is a simple name, but it sounds like a song.

The name that stood out the most is “wisdom” because of its melodic sound and its musicality in different languages.

However, the “wisdoms” have a name not only euphoric, but also with rich history and content. Over time and in relation to the appearance of this name, it was used since the early centuries in the eastern provinces of the Roman Empire and then became common in the Greek -speaking countries. It later spread to Slavic regions and eventually appeared in Western European countries in the 16th century.
