What was supposed to be just a relaxed comment on a live program ended up turning into a great headache for presenter Bielo Pereira. Known for running Diatv’s “For Variation” program, the influencer started a fight with Lady Gaga fans after openly criticizing the artist and mocking her guaranteed presence in the VIP area of the show that the singer will do in Copacabana, Rio, next month.
During one of the program’s editions, Bielo responded to a viewer who praised the pop singer with irony. “Mor, I’m here for diversity. If you want to like bad things, who am I?” In a sarcastic tone, she also said that although she didn’t like the artist’s songs, she would be present at the event: “As soon as I hit my front … my vip area, I’ll be there! Love, I’ll be there, because I’ll be able to.”
She still continued to say that criticism and were not personal, but an attempt to provoke reflections on the music industry. “Nothing against [Lady Gaga]but my job is to do pertinent criticism against the national and international music industry. Compared to what has been done, ‘Queen’ should stop acting and pay more attention to the material it delivers, “he said, ending the matter.
The negative repercussion was immediate on social networks, with the followers of the American singer organizing a campaign against the influencer. The hashtag with the name of Beielo even appeared among the most commented subjects in the X (former Twitter).
The situation worsened when Deezer, a streaming platform that had a partnership with Bielo and would be responsible for his tickets for the show, decided to officially position himself. In a statement issued on Thursday (10), the company announced the end of collaboration with the influencer. “Deezer does not condone with any kind of disrespect for the work of artists. Our commitment is to fans, musicians and the valorization of the music industry,” the brand said.
In addition to the breakdown of the partnership, the company has revealed that the tickets reserved for Bielo will now be directed directly to fans of the singer. “We follow firm in our commitment to those who love music. Tickets that would be intended for the influencer were separated for fans in a dynamic that will be communicated soon,” he concluded.
Lady Gaga’s presentation in Copacabana takes place on May 3 and is part of a special action with free admission. The expectation is a large audience on Rio beach.
