Kelly Piquet and Max Verstappen announced the birth of their first daughter on Friday (2), with joint publication on social networks. “Welcome to the world, Doce Lily. Our hearts are fuller than ever. You’re our greatest gift. We love you so much,” says the caption.
The couple announced their pregnancy in December 2024. “Mini VerstapPen-Piquet on the way. We could not be happier with our little miracle,” they wrote at the time. The first images released by the couple were taken in the maternity ward. The photos show only part of the face and the child’s hand.
“I can’t wait to meet you,” said Victoria Verstappen, Max’s sister. “Congratulations on your little Princess Lily,” Dutch driver Robert Doornbos said. Names like Maria Helena Bordon Meireles, Camila Coelho and Daniel ABT also congratulated the couple.
On Thursday (1st), Max Verstappen did not attend the press conference of the Formula 1 Miami Grand Prix, to accompany the birth of his daughter. At the time, Red Bull stated that the absence was justified by a “happy family occasion.”
Lily is the first daughter of Max Verstappen, four-time Formula 1 world champion. Kelly is already the mother of 5-year-old Penelope, the result of her relationship with former Russian pilot Danil Kvyat. The model and influencer is the daughter of the three -time Formula 1 champion Nelson Piquet and the Dutch model Sylvia Tamsma, was born in Germany and has Brazilian nationality.
