A simple photo published by Marcelo Rubens Paiva was enough to shake social networks on Wednesday (7). The writer, author of the book that inspired the award -winning movie “I’m Still Here,” appeared alongside director Walter Salles, producer Daniela Thomas and her sisters Ana Lúcia and Vera Paiva – Central Figures of History portrayed in the work.
The meeting took place after the release of Marcelo’s new book, “The Novo Now”, at Sesc Pinheiros, in São Paulo, and left a lot of people wondering: there is another movie?
In the caption of the image, the artist wrote in an enigmatic way: “Making Plans.” The phrase was enough to set the fans’ imagination. “We already want a continuation of this masterpiece,” said one João Carlos. “Oops, will we have a new Oscar nominated?” Asked user Pedro Henrique.

The film, released in 2024, tells the story of Eunice Paiva’s struggle for truth and justice after the forced disappearance of her husband, former deputy Rubens Paiva, during the Brazilian military dictatorship.
Directed by Walter Salles, the work won the Oscar for Best International Film, and was nominated for the best film award and earned actress Fernanda Torres the Golden Globe for Best Actress for the role of Eunice.
