‘You have to let your face break,’ says Angelica about educating teenage children

In a chat with Flávia Alessandra and Giulia Costa in the podcast foot on the couch, Angelica talked about the challenges of educating children in the adolescence phase.

The presenter is the mother of Joaquim, 20, Benício, 17, and Eve, 12, with Luciano Huck. According to her, the hardest part to be a mother is to “observe everything from afar” and not be able to interfere.

“We want everything to be perfect for them. We see from afar and say, ‘What do I do to help?’ But there are things you can’t do. You have to break your face, you have to let it happen. This is the hardest part of the teenage mother: letting your face break to learn,” he says.

Flávia Alessandra agrees: “It’s very difficult! If they could never suffer …”, amending the actress, who besides Giulia, with Marcos Paulo, is the mother of 15 -year -old Olivia, with Otaviano Costa.

Angelica says that for each of the children she has a different approach. According to her, the trio has very distinct personalities. “Joaquim was born at 80, he is a gentleman. He is very mature and centered, more than me. He is the father of all in any situation. And Benício is the questioner,” he says.

“He goes to the end, until you give in. And as I will not give in, we spend hours in that clash. It bothers a little,” admits the presenter. “Joaquim is more sentimental, so he gives in. Benício never gives in. Eva has not yet entered [na adolescência]. “
