The Minister of Culture Lina Mendoni and CEO of Boston Consulting Group (BCG) Vassilis Antoniadis They signed a 330,000 -euro donation contract for BCG to design a study on the subject of European Cultural Center of Delphi (ERC)to an international destination for conference tourism and at a meeting place for the promotion of culture, letters and the arts, in complete harmony with the unique character of the region, its historical and cultural heritage, monuments and unique Delphic landscape. During the Boston Consulting Group study, a draft of economically sustainable development and operational utilization of the European Cultural Center of Delphi was drawn up, with the aim of supporting this strategic direction and strengthening its role as a body of culture and development.

Following the signing of the donation contract, Minister of Culture Lina Mendoni said:

“Delphi, a global historical and cultural landmark, with particular charge and symbolism, attract thousands of visitors from Greece and abroad throughout the year. Today, in the Archaeological Site of Delphi, the Ministry of Culture is evolving major projects, with a budget of approximately 11,000,000 euros, with resources of the recovery fund and completion horizon, at the beginning of 2026. proceeds, with a rapid pace or the European Central Center, to reinforce the European Center for the European Center. The study includes the evaluation of the existing status of the facilities and infrastructure of the EFF, the analysis of its accessibility as well as the imprinting of the wider framework for the area’s infrastructure and services, which can contribute to the support and development of conference and cultural activities. The domestic and international market for conference and professional events (MICE) is being examined, with the aim of identifying optimal practices, from comparable institutions and venues, as well as making specific proposals and guidelines for the organizational, technical and operational upgrading of the EKF. It is noted that the conference complex is in an area of ​​100 acres and includes a conference center, a hostel and an outdoor theater. The complex of the Conference Center and the Hostel was built, in the mid -1960s, in plans by Kostas Kitsikis and Antonis Lampakis. It is a typical architectural sample of the modern movement. The Conference Center has two main and four auxiliary meeting rooms, library and secretariat venues, as well as a multipurpose ground room, suitable for exhibitions and seminars.
