Gaby Amarantos, 46, used social networks to regret the death of his brother Gabriel, who died on Thursday (12). According to the singer, he faced health problems since childhood, such as obesity and diabetes, but the picture has worsened in recent months. “My brother rested,” Gaby wrote in the caption of a publication in which Gabriel appears to be hugged. Besides him, the artist has a younger sister, Gabriele.

In the honor, Gaby described her brother of the middle as a pride of the family. “Since childhood, he faced many challenges: he lived with obesity and, still very young, had his health committed by diabetes – this silent disease that affects part of our family and that, because of him, motivated me to seek a healthier life,” he said.

The singer said that Gabriel was very present in her life, accompanied her career with enthusiasm. Married to Alessandra and the father of a boy named Rui, he had a passion for various music styles such as tacky, pagoda and samba and cheered for Paysandu, team of Pará. One of his greatest joys, according to Gaby, was watching the Rio de Janeiro Carnival parades at Marquês de Sapucaí. “I remember Gabriel thrilled, in ecstasy – a memory that I will keep forever. And even young, aware that his journey would be brief, he did his best to enjoy every moment,” he said.

Finally, Gaby Amarantos thanked the medical team who took care of her brother and said goodbye to the fondness: “Maninho, your journey now continues, but otherwise you follow in Divine Light, with the certainty that we will continue here taking care of your family, and that your sisters will follow firmly, with the mission of always bringing the best to all of us.”
