Taylor Swift visits Children’s Hospital in Florida and thrills children and staff

Between one hockey game and another, Taylor Swift took time to realize the dream of dozens of children hospitalized at Joe Dimaggio Hospital in Hollywood, Florida. The singer made a surprise visit on Friday (13) to the institution, where she talked with patients and took pictures with family and health professionals.

Taylor’s passage took place at the same time she was in town to accompany her boyfriend Travis Kelce in the NHL Stanley Cup final. The two were seen together the night before in game 4 between Florida Panthers and Edmonton Oilers at Amerat Bank Arena in Sunrise.

Dressed in a green-free green dress and light sandals, the artist traveled hospital runners, stopping in different rooms to interact with children and adolescents in treatment. In one of the videos published in Tiktok by fans, she praises the look of one of the patients: “I liked your hair – it’s so cool,” he says, smiling and squeezing the young man’s hand.

“It was an amazing day,” said one employee on social networks after the visit. The singer posed for several photos, including one next to the hospital’s head of surgery, Jill Whitehouse, who shared the registration with an affectionate subtitle: “Chief of surgery finds the world’s head of the world! One of the most kind human beings ever had the privilege of knowing.”

Among the most exciting moments recorded by family members is Judah’s, an hospitalized boy who met the star moments before going through a transfusion. “Literally crying … Look who Judah met at the hospital today. The only time I missed an appointment,” wrote his father, in an X -ranked publication, next to a photo in which he appears with his son on his lap and Taylor next door.

The visit to the pediatric unit in Florida is not an isolated case. The artist also recently visited Children’s Mercy Hospital in Kansas City, Missouri.
