A Venetian villa built at the beginning of the 20th century at the Xylokastro cottage hosted our great poet Angelos Sikelianos and his first wife Eva Palmer for years. There some of his most beautiful poems were written and in nature there were fertile discussions with the intellect of the time. A visit brings to life the past.
