Buckingham Palace was the scene of a special reception on Wednesday afternoon (25) in London. King Charles 3, 76, opened the doors of the official residence of the British monarchy to celebrate the winners of King’s Trust Awards 2025 – a pregnancy dedicated to recognizing young people who have overcome adversities and promoted positive transformations in their communities.

Among the guests of honor were actor George Clooney, 64, and his wife, lawyer and activist Amal Clooney, 47. The couple attended the event alongside other prominent names, such as businesswoman and makeup artist Charlotte Tilbury, who appeared in videos released by the royal family’s official account talking to the monarch.

In the images recorded during the ceremony, Charles – who is still undergoing treatment after being diagnosed with cancer – appears smiling, exchanging incentive words with the winners and thanking the support of ambassadors and partners of the program.

“The King today organized a special reception at Buckingham Palace for King’s Trust Awards 2025 winners,” he published the official royal profile on social networks. “With supporters and ambassadors, their majesty met the winners of the national and international categories.”

Created to honor stories of overcoming and social impact, the prize is promoted by the King’s Trust International Foundation, which turns ten years in 2025. In another excerpt from the post, the organization celebrated the dedication of the honorees: “We are immensely proud of the extraordinary achievements of our young people and volunteers. The courage and commitment of all of you continue to inspire us.”
