Grants, totaling EUR 1,236,000, are announced by the Ministry of Culture to strengthen Multipurpose Festivals/Actions in 2025 through the Register of Cultural Bodies.

According to the Ministry of Culture’s announcement, the aim of the invitation is to support the work of cultural bodies throughout Greece, with the aim of creating or developing multidisciplinary festivals, that is, including more than one thematic activities (eg art and dance, theater and music, etc.).

As said by Minister of Culture Lina Mendoni:

“With the program” CREATIVE GREECE – SYNDROME CULTURE GRANTS 2025 “, the Ministry of Culture is practically supporting modern culture throughout the country. His main goal is to strengthen and highlight remarkable cultural events/actions/initiatives in all areas, while helping to renew citizens’ interest in contemporary artistic creations. The grant of multidisciplinary festivals is a timely policy of the Ministry of Culture to support regional cultural activity and the emergence of Greece’s cultural diversity. Through the festivals, we enhance access to contemporary artistic creation, encourage the participation of new and vulnerable social groups, and highlight the potential of local communities, while contributing to social cohesion and local development. Since 2024, grants are now constituting the trunk of the “CREATIVE GREECE” program, essentially enhancing the cultural production and extroversion of modern Greek culture. “

Deputy Minister of Culture Jason Fotilas said:

“The actions included in the multi -festival festivals make up a colorful and exciting canvas, spreading throughout the country. They are actions, events and creative initiatives that are inspired by the inspiration of artists, the power of the groups and the need for expression and communication. The Ministry of Culture, for yet another year, supports them substantially and effectively, through the “Creative Greece” program ensuring the conditions that creators need to express and institutions to meet their audiences. And this culture meeting rejuvenates our society. “
