Tallulah Willis, 30, made an outburst on social networks about the challenges he faced during the most critical period of anorexia. In an Instagram post, Bruce Willis and Demi Moore’s daughter shared old photos of 2022 and described the impacts that food disorder had on her physical and mental health.

In the images, Tallulah appears with extremely thin hair and flaws visible on the scalp. She said that at the time, she saw these signs as “merit” marks of the attention of others. “For a long time, I saw the hair without hair as a badge of honor. As if I said, ‘Look, I was sick enough for you to note me,'” he wrote.

During treatment at a Texas rehab clinic, she even used wheelchair due to leg muscular atrophy. The condition of the body was so fragile that she could barely keep clips stuck in her hair: “They slipped because there was nowhere to be fixed, I was without walking.”

The actress, who has gained notoriety in childhood because she was the daughter of two major Hollywood stars, said she chose to expose part of the experience to contribute to awareness about eating disorders. “I don’t want to display these images as a trophy of who almost starved, but I believe they have value as a learning tool,” he said.

In addition to the report on the past, Tallulah also shared more recent records made in this year’s spring, in which he appears smiling and with visibly fuller hair. “I had no idea how comforting it could be to make a bulky bun. It’s sexy to feel the hair swinging when you walk.”

She also reflected on the process of emotional and physical reconstruction: “For a long time, I didn’t value myself or take care of my health, but I’m one of the lucky ones who managed to cross this phase. Today, I celebrate being here.”

The publication ended with a message of empathy and incentive for those who still face the same type of battle: “Since I made my public disorder, it makes sense to make recovery as well. I want to offer welcome to every busy mind that is still suffering. I love you.”
