The four original members of the pioneering heavy metal band Black Sabbath, Tony Ayomi, Gieser Butler, Bill Ward and Ozi Ozborn will appear together for the last time in the city where they grew up, Birmingham, England. Nearly six decades after they helped create heavy metal music with the song and album that excited the audience, Black Sabbath returns home for the “Back to the Beginning” concert at Villa Park Stadium.

The only concert, whose proceeds will be donated to charity, has been described as the last appearance of Ozi Ozborn five years after the revelation that she is suffering from Parkinson’s disease.

Legendary bands by Heavy Metal, Metallica, Guns n ‘Roses, Alice in Chains, Tool, Gojira, Slayer, are going to appear at the concert paying tribute to Sabbath.

“I can tell you that if we were not invited to play, I would find a way to be there anyway.”said Metallica’s drummer, Lars Ulrich. “I think it’s safe enough to say that if there were no Black Sabbath, there wouldn’t be Metallica too.”he said in his statements to Nuts.

“The goal is very simple and that is to create the biggest day in Heavy Metal’s history as a tribute to the band that started it all”told Metal Hammer magazine Rage Against the Machine, Tom Morello, who has taken over the music direction of the event.

The concert has attracted tens of thousands of fans from all over the world waiting to hear the great successes of Sabbath, “Paranoid”, “War Pigs”, “Black Sabbath”. Exhibitions, parallel events and tours of land -related landmarks are organized throughout July in Birmingham.

The city acquired a new graffiti of Black Sabbath, created by the famous local artist Mr Muls. The 38 -meter -high project, painted with spray, depicts the four members of the band in stunning detail. Fans and artists participating in the concert pass through the famous Black Sabbath bridge to be photographed on the bench, sculptures whose unveiling were held in 2019, at the point where members of the band once posed for one of his first photos for the press.
