The slap which Will Smith gave to Chris Rock at the 94th Academy Awards will go down in the history of the institution as one of the strangest and most unexpected moments.
The actor who was awarded the best male actor of the year that night, used violence to express the annoyance caused by a (bad) joke of his colleague about his wife. Attendees and viewers were speechless at the sight of his move, while he apologized both shortly after the incident during the Oscars, and in a written statement on social media.
A video, however, which saw the light of day and depicts him Will Smith at a young age, he makes the rounds of the internet today and “burns” the actor, as he jokes with a gentleman who is bald due to alopecia – just like his wife.
