On the magnificent beach of Alyki, we met the famous Beba of Kimolos. Active and dynamic, Beba is a heartfish businessman full of the beauty of the place. With her we walked through the streets of Chora and felt the true pulse of the island with his daily human moments.
The “chalkists”, a group of people with endless inspiration, travel to outdoor libraries near the wave and Kalisperitis, a cinema taken from a fairy tale. Every summer it comes to life in different places, always under the stars light, by the sea, with lanterns and rags.
Traveler teacher and artist, Mohammed Baris from Morocco studying in Paris, paints the island and dreams of his eyes open. Kimolos is now his homeland and a source of inspiration.
We know the one and only student in Kimolos who gave nationwide this year and we felt what it is like to be alone in the classroom …
