After 15 years of the disappearance of Eliza Samudio, her mother, Sônia Fátima Moura, finally received the belongings of her daughter who were in the custody of justice. She published some of the objects on social networks, such as her sunglasses, sandals, wallet and photo of her grandson, Bruninho.

“After 15 years of waiting, hoping to find your remains, what justice returned to me is these objects of Eliza. Having these objects in my hands is as if time has not passed, pain continues and is so intense, so raw. These objects are like a piece of yours, a piece of me,” he began.

According to a report, the pain of the departure is a wound that never closes completely and is as if a part of it has been torn. “Saudade is a constant presence, a shadow that accompanies me in every step of mine, but it was in this pain that I found the strength to follow.”

Following the outburst, he referred to the grandson, who today is a Botafogo player and is already 15 years old. When Eliza’s body disappeared, he was newborn.

“Bruninho is growing up and making your dreams come true and it’s like you, Eliza, is alive, smiling at him. It’s the continuity of your story, it fills me with pride and hope to know that not all your dreams died with you,” he added.
