In the new episode of Happy Traveler, On Sunday, July 20th, we discover the largest island of Sporades, the magnificent Skyros. Happy Traveler’s team starts from the picturesque port of Linaria and walks in the country with whitewashed alleys and the imposing castle overlooking the endless blue. It explores the mysterious caves on the impressive rock of the castle, enjoys the beautiful beach shop, the picturesque Molos and the characteristic windmill.
Eftichis and Electra go to the south to discover the Ari Plateau, the particular stone sculptures and the impressive lighthouse at Akrotiri Pithari. They also go up to the north, on the beautiful beaches of Agios Petros and Agalipa, with the mysterious wreck that magnetizes in the blue waters. In Atsitsa they enjoy one of Skyros’ most epic sunsets.
The journey continues by boat, exploring the Skiropoula and isolated spots of the island where you can only reach the sea. And of course, travelers will also get to know the famous Skyrian horses to find out what makes them so unique!
