Diagnosed three years ago with Frontotemporal Dementia – a neurodegenerative condition that compromises areas of the brain linked to behavior and language – actor Bruce Willis, 70, faces an increasingly delicate health condition. According to information released by The Express Tribune, the Hollywood star can no longer speak, read or walk.

Willis moved away from public life and ended his career shortly after receiving the medical diagnosis. Although the family has not officially confirmed the advancement of the disease, there are reports of people close to the actor that their state has deteriorated significantly in recent months, making it virtually nonverbal and with serious motor limitations.

The wife, Emma Heming, with whom Willis has two daughters-Mabel, 13, and Evelyn, 11-, and former wife Demi Moore, mother of her other three daughters-36, 33, 33, and Tallulah, 31-often share updates about Bruce’s health, but have not published for some time. One of the actor’s last public appearances was in March on his 70th birthday.

Born in the then Western Germany, Bruce Willis gained notoriety by starring in the Moonlighting series (1985) and consolidated himself as an icon of action movies by playing John McClane in the “Hard to Kill” franchise (1988). Throughout his career, he has worked in hits such as “Pulp Fiction – Time of Violence” (1994), “The 12 Monkeys” (1995), “Armageddon” (1998), “The Sixth Sense” (1999), “In the Wrong Place (2022),” Detective Knight: Independence (2023), among others.
