Carlinhos Maia and Lucas Guimarães announced the end of the wedding on Saturday. They had been together for 15 years and spent the last six married. “We are finalizing this cycle in peace, without fights and chaos. Being mature, and writing this text together to everyone who loves us and supports us,” published in a shared post on Instagram.
Maia is a digital influencer, comedian, actor and businessman, and Guimarães is a digital influencer and model. They were celebrated the wedding in 2019 with a luxurious party on the banks of the São Francisco River, at Beira Rio beach, in Canindé de São Francisco (SE).
“It is 15 years dividing life: dreams, joys, sorrows and, especially, the love that has always united us,” they said. “We are sure that we will never lose ourselves in soul and heart. But now we will continue separated.”
According to both, the decision was not made recently. “Since the last (and only) separation we had, we felt that we rush because we did not live the time necessary to reevaluate everything that was still out of place,” they said.
