The children, who recently came to Greece from war-torn Ukraine as refugees, were given a tour of EMST and attended one of the Museum’s educational programs.

On the occasion of the visit, the Undersecretary stated:

“Visits like this are the least we can do for these children. It arose at the request of the Ukrainian community itself in Greece, and is a first cultural action, while others are to follow. We all hope that the war will end soon, and that these children will be able to return safely to their lives, to their homes, to their schools, with as few traumas as possible from the violence of the war and with the best memories of the stay and hospitality in our country. “We intend to announce further actions in support of Ukrainian artists, and to highlight the country’s culture.”
