“Get to know the award -winning actor Pedro Pascal – once an imaginative kid obsessed with cinema. Born in Chile, Pedro spent his early years in San Antonio, Texas, where his family found asylum during the years of Pinoset’s dictatorship. Fulfilled by the passion for cinema and theater that his parents encouraged early, Pedro attended the Tisch School of the University of New York and devoted himself to reading scripts and watching classic films. Pedro Pascal eventually became known for his roles in the Game of Thrones, The Mandalorian and The Last of Us. “
“Pedro Pascal owes his career to his mother, Veronica Pascal. He changed his name from balm to Pascal to honor his memory and influence in his life. “
The “Hispanic Star” series of Roaring Brook Press publishes Spanish and Latin heroes with a remarkable contribution to American culture.
Pedro Pascal received positive reviews for his performance in the film “The Fantastic Four: First Steps” released in July.
