OR Kate Blanchett (Cate Blanchett) stole impressions last night at the premiere of her new film, “Father Mother Sister Brother” in the Sala Grande Room of the 82nd Venice Film Festival.
According to Variety, the film that deals with the lives of three different families directed by Jim Jarmusch received a five -minute warm applause.
At the end of the screening, the director kissed the hand of each of his protagonists, Blanchett, Vicky Krieps, Charlotte Rampling, Mayim Bialik and Indya Moore.
Luka Sabbat also gave the premiere at the premiere while his co -stars, Adam Driver and Tom Waits, were unable to attend.

“Father Mother Sister Brother” is about three stories with protagonist adult children trying to reconnect with their alienated parents, creating an emotional mosaic.
Each chapter is played in the present, in a different country: “Father” in a rural area of ​​New Jersey, with Draver and Bialica playing two brothers visiting their secluded father, embodied by Weitz.
“Mother” travels to Dublin where Blanchett and Krips are reunited with their emotionally cold mother (Rambling).
And the last chapter, “Sister Brother” unfolds in Paris and brings Moore and Sabbat, on a last visit to their home.
The premiere is Jarmus’ return to Lindo after 22 years, as his latest appearance at the festival was in 2003 with the debut of Coffee & Cigaretes.
The film is a production by Saint Laurent Prods., Mubi and The Apartment (a company of Fremantle), along with the Badjetlag of Jarmus and CG Cinema by Charles Gillibert.
It was also supported by FÃs éireann/ Screen Ireland and received funding from Cinema Inutile.
The “Father Mother Sister Brother” is expected in the American theaters on December 24.
