It was by surprise. At 5 am this Sunday (3), Ayla was born, daughter of Bárbara Evans and Gustavo Theodoro. The delivery, according to Barbara herself, would only be in a few days, but the water broke earlier.
“The water broke and our princess came into the world by surprise. It was no use trying to decide for her, she came into the world making her own decisions”, explained the model with a carousel of photos of her with the girl in postpartum.
“Mom ran to take a shower and do her makeup, with her big red nails. And that’s how our Ariana Ayla arrived in our lives”, he published. The baby comes into the world weighing 2.8 kilos and measuring 48 centimeters.
“Biggest gift in the world! We are very blessed, an inexplicable love! Thank you, God”, published Bárbara.
Barbara Evans’ pregnancy had its ups and downs. In September, she lost one of the children she was expecting. She had announced that she was expecting twins after having a successful in vitro fertilization.
“I’m smiling, but the news is not good. The little one’s heart stopped beating, so he doesn’t live anymore”, said Bárbara, married to Gustavo Theodoro.
“I’m calm and at peace. God knows what’s best for us. I’m fine. I did what I could,” he amended. According to her, it was better that this happened at the beginning of the pregnancy so that there were no complications for the other baby.
“I thought about the possibility that he would still be alive and in a few weeks he would stop beating [o coração] and having to deliver both prematurely. Now the body will absorb it.”
The revelation that she was pregnant came in early September. Evans had been sharing with his followers on the social network the fertilization process he was going through. The model had already said that she and her husband could not have children naturally.
“We are doing IVF because I have endometriosis and I had ovarian surgery.” In 2020, the model underwent emergency surgery to have an ovarian cyst removed.
Upon discovering, in front of the cell phone camera, that she was pregnant, Evans cried a lot. “I don’t believe it, my God, it worked. I don’t believe it,” she said.
