The Saturday September 20thto HELLENIC COMPANY Environment and Culture in Platethe Nikos Aliagas He presents his photographic work, entitled “The Test of Time”, in the context of the new cycle of actions of AINOS. Places, faces and landscapes open a dialogue with human existence, time and space through its lens, with emotion and sincerity becoming a means of communicating with the viewer.
It is a series of photographs that includes black and white images of large dimensions, focusing on the passage of time in human existence. On the choice of black and white in his photos he says: “Life is color, but black and white is more realistic.”
The presentation will take place in Greek and French and inaugurates the cycle of events of art (Souffle d’Art), designed by Veronik Magnes and Niki Tsironis and is implemented by the AINOS Cultural Society in collaboration with the Hellenic Society of Environment and Culture (ELLET). This cycle aims to raise public awareness of environmental and culture issues through the work of important creators.
The historic neoclassical building, where the exhibition of Nikos Aliaga will be held is located on the oldest surname known street in Europe, 28 Tripodon Street, Plaka.
