The death of distinguished choreographer Paul Roberts, at the age of 52, was announced with emotion. Spice Girls. In a post on the band’s official Instagram account, they say that Roberts “radiated happiness and positivity”.

For more than 25 years, Paul Roberts has been an important personality in the field of choreography, creating dance moves for top names on the international music scene.

As Spice Girls point out, “His creativity, his passion and joy for life were evident at all our concerts”. At the same time, they point out that beyond his talent, “Paul was just a wonderful man.”

Roberts worked with the women’s band on the 2019 reunification tour, and has also worked with artists such as One Direction, Harry Styles and Katie Perry.

His death was confirmed on the weekend by his partner, Fil Griffin. Griffin reported in post: “On the night of September 26, 2025, after a courageous battle with cancer, Paul passed away quietly at his home, surrounded by his family.”.

Recently, Roberts had worked with Pitt Townsend on Quadrophenia’s ballet. His rich biography includes collaborations with Doli Parton, Ed Syran and Sir Paul McCartney.

Among his most memorable works is the choreography for Harry Stiles’s “Treat People People with Kindness” video, in which Fibib Woler-Brig also participated. The video, shot shortly before the Covid-19 pandemic, became a symbol of carefree joy, with Roberts giving this feeling to chemistry between the two artists.
