An unexpected turn was made by Charlie Sheen’s recent interview with Dax Shepard’s popular Podcast Armchair Expert, as the famous actor has publicly apologized for an offensive behavior towards the presenter … more than 20 years ago.
The detail that makes the difference is that Shepard didn’t even remember the incident.
Sheen- who continues his tour of promoting the autobiography “The Book of Sheen: A Memoir” and his new documentary “Aka Charlie Sheen”- spoke openly about an incident that, he said, “bored” for decades.
“There is something I was carrying inside me,” Sheen said about 20 minutes after the interview started.
“I was bad with you one night. Very bad. We are talking about a “5,000” level. And for a long time I felt I had to correct it. And let’s get 20 years later. “
Shepard was surprised and asked to find out what incident he was referring to, as he remembered nothing.
Sheen explained that the incident happened some Halloween in the early 2000s, when they were in a company and discussing how they had the celebration.
“We were talking about what it is to do Halloween and have young children – and how it is not so fun. It is and is not. It’s just nice for the photo that will get in the fridge, “Sheen said.
“I was in a bad mood and I was moaning for everything,” he said.
According to the actor’s description, when Shepard began to describe that this period is not so bad for him, Sheen interrupted him abruptly by telling him a little bit- in an offensive tone- that he has no children so he could not express an opinion.
“It was completely irrelevant and rude. So I apologize – even 20 years later. “
Shepard replied that it is very difficult to keep bad for someone so “like”.
“As soon as the interview was arranged, I said ‘perfectly, I will clarify that thing for 20 years ago,'” Sheen concluded.
