Two concerts electronic music organizes his Department of Music Studies Aristotle Thessaloniki On Saturday, November 1, 2025, at 17:00 and 20:00.
The events will be hosted at the Science Dissemination Center and Museum Iannis xenakis.
The institution has been established as a reference point for the global electroacoustic community, gathering 266 high artistic hearing music works this year by composers of 44 countries.
According to the organizers, Iannis Xenakis’ innovative ideas continue to inspire the new generation of creators, an element that is reflected in many of this year’s works.
At the first concert, the audience will enjoy projects of members of the jury, such as Kees Tazlaar (Netherlands), Elizabeth Anderson (USA/Belgium), Panayiotis Kokoras (Greece/US), Cameron Naylor (United Kingdom) and Jaime Reis (Portugal).
The second concert will be dedicated to the projects that were distinguished in the competition. Among the creators to be presented are Cristina Dignart (Brazil), Annette Vande Gorne (Belgium), Phivos-Angelos Kollias (Greece), Karmen Ponikvar (Slovenia), Yu Chung Tseng (Taiwan) and Nicola Fumo Frattegiani (Italy).
The awards will be given by the Chairman of the Jury, Kees Tazelaar.
Admission to concerts is free to the public. There will be a priority order with coupons, which will be distributed from 16:00 on the day of the events by the NOISIS Fund.
