BBB 22: Laís withdraws lawsuit against Maíra Cardi after being called ‘dada’

Now out of Big Brother Brasil 22 (Globo), doctor Laís Caldas has given up on taking a lawsuit against digital influencer Maíra Cardi, wife of fellow participant Arthur Aguiar.

In videos that circulated on social media, Maíra Cardi called Laís false and offered and disdained the possibility of having to go to court when she was accused of slander, defamation and insult by her sister’s team. She stated in February that she was not afraid of prosecution and that she would continue to say whatever she wanted about the doctor.

However, on the afternoon of this Wednesday (13), Laís’ sister, Nara Caldas, confirmed to the F5 that the process no longer exists. The information had been first passed on by columnist Ancelmo Gois.

The fight between the two had been intensified due to the constant disagreements between Arthur Aguiar and Laís on the reality show. Both used to attack each other in the Discord Games, and Lais celebrated the fact of seeing Aguiar in Paredão after an elimination in the Leader’s Test won by Paulo André and Scooby.

“Laís’ team thinks they have the right to keep trying to sue me. She just said that Arthur is not a man. She even made fun of him. And I’m out here, watching the reality show, I can’t say what I think of her, that she’s fake. Baby, you’re going to die suing me because I’m going to keep talking until the end,” Cardi shot.

Cardi’s lines on the Link podcast also went down well. Laís’ team released a note of rejection at the time saying that the appropriate measures were already being taken. At the time, Maíra said that she wanted to twist Laís’ neck, that she has a droopy eye and that she would be “given” when she went to throw herself on Arthur.

In a video in Stories, once again Maíra confirmed that she had no fear. “I can see you talking bad about him all day. In front of him you don’t say the same thing, you don’t have the chest.
