Expelled from Big Brother Brasil 22 (Globo), actress and singer Maria revealed this Thursday (14) that she was not worried about her disqualification from reality. Responding to fan questions via Instagram Stories, she revealed that the first thing she did was go home to see her friends.
The ex-sister opened a question box on her Instagram, asking her followers to send in the questions. One netizen then asked, “How did it feel to be kicked out of the show? I hated to see you leave, I cried.”
Maria then replied, “Honestly? I think you guys suffered more than I did. I didn’t spend five minutes worried. After they talked to me, I went straight to my house to see my friends. I thought it was a really good way out.”
Maria was expelled from BBB 22 in the early afternoon of February 15th. The reason was the disproportionate force used by her when she threw water at Natalia in the Game of Discord. The bucket ended up hitting the participant hard on the head.
“Maria was disqualified from BBB 22 for failing to comply with one of the program’s rules,” Globo said in a statement. “After analyzing the images of the dynamics of the Game of Discord, an aggression by the participant to Natália was verified and, following the rules, the actress and singer was disqualified.”
The other participants were surprised to be informed about the broadcaster’s decision. Natalia cried a lot and needed to be supported by her colleagues. At the time, the broadcaster informed that Maria would not be replaced and the Paredão da noite would be maintained, with Arthur, Bárbara and Natália in the hot seat.
