The selection process of the works that will participate in the 18th International Festival of Digital Arts of Greece Athens Digital Arts Festival (ADAF) is in the final stage.
The festival will take place from May 25 to 29, with a central exhibition in Kotzia Square, in the former notoshome building complex. It will also be held online in the fall.
In both versions, physical and online, the festival explores the “FutuRetro” theme – science fiction and retrofuturism – as part of the science of the future, seeking to present the present through the eyes of the past, and the past through the eyes of the past. of the future.
The ADAF editorial team selects from 5,700 works and proposals submitted after the open call of the festival to Greek and international artists, scientists, intellectuals, technologists.
The program again this year consists of various categories: video art, interactive and audiovisual installation, live performance, animation, virtual, augmented and mixed reality (VR / AR / XR) works, games, digital image, web art, creative workshops, speeches, the ADAF KIDS children’s program and the popular ADAF MUSIC category.
