“Let’s burn Amber,” read Ben Rottenborn. “You said, ‘I’m going to fuck her burnt corpse afterwards to make sure she’s dead.'”

“That’s what you said you would do after you burned her and after you drowned her,” said the lawyer when forwarding the message sent in 2013 by the actor to one of his friends.

Throughout his testimony, the actor’s alcohol and drug abuse was also extensively detailed by Heard’s lawyers, who, also present in court, had kept an impassive face.

Dressed in a dark suit and black shirt, Depp admitted to using these substances but denied any excess.

Recalling an experience with singer Marilyn Manson, the actor said the two men had “drank” and “used cocaine together maybe a few times”, adding that he once “gave the rocker a pill” to make him “stop talking” so much”.
