The 6th International Laboratory “Communication of Science, Philosophy and Literature” takes place from 16 to 20 July 2022 in Syros.
In recent years, the field of Science Communication seems to be gaining ground, as it plays a critical role in understanding social phenomena, such as the Covid-19 pandemic and Climate Change.
In this context, the Postgraduate Program of the Hellenic Open University “Communication of Science” in collaboration with the Institute of Historical Research of the National Research Foundation, the Department of Sociology of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens and foreign universities Of Science, Philosophy and Literature “.
The workshop is part of the “Seminars of Ermoupolis”, held on the Cycladic island for more than 30 years. This year, the 6th Workshop, is an interdisciplinary dialogue and invites participants from all over Europe and the world to share their views through short presentations, on topics that they find interesting.
The workshop is addressed to both students and teachers, as well as to ordinary citizens with an interest in the Communication of Science, Philosophy and Literature. The role of women and feminism in this context is particularly welcomed by those who wish to support it. Invitation for entries until April 30
Those who wish to participate in the workshop with their suggestion should send their proposal in writing in a summary of 200 words, noting their name and details. The time of each presentation will not exceed 20 minutes, while there will be a 10 minute discussion and questions after each presentation.
