Diana Ross to perform at Queen Elizabeth II’s Platinum Jubilee

Singer Diana Ross, 78, is set to headline Queen Elizabeth II’s Platinum Jubilee concert on June 4, according to the Daily Mail. She will entertain the queen as she wraps up her 70th birthday party.

If Ross attends the jubilee, it will be her first performance in the UK since 2007, after taking the stage here during the European leg of her “I Love You” tour.

According to the Times, the singer will be one of the main attractions at the event, which will take place on a huge circular platform at the Victoria Memorial. She will join the likes of Queen, Duran Duran and Andrea Bocelli, although the BBC has yet to release the full list of attractions.

In November of last year, Ross released the album “Thank You”, the first with unreleased songs in 20 years. “It’s everything I dreamed of. From my heart to yours. May you breathe life into these wonderful songs, thank you from the bottom of my heart”, “Wrote Diana on social media when promoting the new album.

The work was recorded in the studio that Ross has at home. The singer participated in the composition of all the songs. She has collaborated with award-winning songwriters and producers such as Jack Antonoff, Troy Miller, Triangle Park, Spike Stent, Prince Charlez, Amy Wadge, Neff-U, Freddie Wexler, Jimmy Napes, Tayla Parx, Fred White and Nathanial Ledgewick.
