Digital influencer Camila Loures, 27, says she was kicked out of an app car after asking the driver to roll up the windows, as it was cold in São Paulo. According to her, the professional did not like the attitude, stopped the car and ordered her to get out.
“I said: ‘Man, you can close the window, the wind is coming in my face and it’s cold’. He said: ‘I can’t close it, Covid protocols’. And I said: ‘It’s just that it’s too cold. how to close just a little more?’. And he said: ‘I’m going to stop and you ask for another car'”, he began.
Then, according to Loures’ version, she said that she no longer needed to roll up the windows to complete the trip, but the driver stopped anyway and would have left her in the middle of an avenue.
After being able to call another car through the app, he commented that he began to shake. “I don’t know what happened and why he turned against me. I don’t know.”
Sought, Uber says that it guides all its partners and users to follow what determines the norms and local authorities regarding the pandemic and that each one must respect the individual preferences of the other.
The company does not mention if there was any understanding with Loures or if it spoke with the driver in question, only that it hopes that partner drivers and users do not get involved in fights and arguments.
