The new cases of coronavirus today, Sunday 12 June, were announced by EODY. According to the information, during the last 24 hours in Greece 8 new deaths are recorded while in the ICU of the country 110 intubated patients are treated. A total of 3,682 new cases are recorded.
According to the epidemiological report of EODY:
• The new laboratory confirmed cases of the disease (individuals) recorded in the last 24 hours were 3,682. The total number of people who became ill amounts to 3,500,489 (daily change + 0.1%), of which 48.7% are men.
• The new deaths of patients with COVID-19 are 8, while since the beginning of the epidemic a total of 30,020 deaths have been recorded. 95.6% had underlying disease and / or age 70 years and older.
• The number of patients treated by intubation is 110 (61.8% men). Their median age is 69 years.
• 92.7% have underlying disease and / or age 70 years and older.
• Among intubated patients, 52 (47.27%) are unvaccinated or partially vaccinated and 58 (52.73%) are fully vaccinated.
• Since the beginning of the pandemic, 4,701 patients have been discharged from the ICU.
• The admissions of new COVID-19 patients in the hospitals of the territory are 110 (daily change + 13.4%).
• The average seven-day admission is 97 patients.
The median age of cases is 37 years (range 0.2 to 112 years), while the median age of death is 80 years (range 0.2 to 106 years).
